San Diego based manager, producer, and engineer Patrick Paxson is dedicated to creating and showcasing great art! Patrick has been a musician for over two decades and holds dual B.S.’s in Computer Science and Cognitive Science, as well as a MSc. in Artificial Intelligence from UCSD with a thesis focusing on the systems design of underwater vehicles. During his time there, he studied under great professors, who helped him refine his skills as a computer engineer, musician, producer, videographer, and sound engineer. Meanwhile, founding a 40-person underwater robotics team, joining a startup accelerator, and working on the audio/5G teams at Qualcomm taught Patrick how to take ideas from their conception to reality. While neck-deep in these projects, Patrick fell in love with the art of managing teams; bringing people together to manifest a singular vision, whether it be an underwater robot or an album, is where he comes alive. Patrick’s diverse blend of engineering, creativity, and people-first thinking brings a unique touch to any project he’s involved in, and his secret concert venue The Blank Slate is no exception!
